which require confidentiality. However, all formal actions
resulting from these meetings must be in a public session. Meetings are shown live on Comcast Channel 22, the district's
educational channel and are replayed Fridays at 10:00 a.m. and
every day at 7:00 p.m. Meetings can also be viewed via web

Resolving
a Concern |
|
The Board and the staff of the Waterford School District are
dedicated to the health, safety, and educational welfare of
our students. If you have a question or concern, we
encourage you to first seek an answer or resolution at the
building level where the issue can be addressed most
effectively. The following steps outline the procedure to be
followed:
-
Issues concerning students or teachers should first be
discussed with the teacher involved.
If the teacher is unable to satisfactorily resolve the
matter, then it may be discussed with the building
principal.
-
If the issue is not resolved by the principal, it may be
brought to the attention of the Directors of Elementary,
Secondary, or Special Education.
-
If the issue is not satisfactorily resolved by the
Director, it may be presented to the Superintendent.
-
Issues still not resolved may be presented to the Board of
Education. In seeking solutions to problems or questions
relating to district-wide decisions, please attempt to
resolve the issue with the Superintendent before taking
the issue to the Board.
