The person who
calls Safety Line should indicate relationship to the absent child
(i.e., mother, father, grandparent, etc.
Remember the Safety Line voice mail is available anytime to
report your child’s absence. Your cooperation in using the Safety Line is

Emergency
Dismissal Procedure
On rare
occasions, for instance when mechanical failures occur in a school
building or when inclement weather develops after school is in session for
the day, it may become necessary to dismiss school early. Check the
Waterford School District
Urgent School Information Page
for details.
Our school
operates a telephone fan-out system which is activated as soon as the
office is notified there has been a change in the normal dismissal time.
It is
imperative that you discuss the
possibility of early dismissal thoroughly with your children and make
certain they know where to go when you are not at home.
If school
is closed during the day, our Child Care will remain open until the last
child is picked up. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children as
soon as possible from Child Care.
