Adult
Education provides students with the opportunity to achieve education
levels equivalent to those of high-school graduates. Adult education
is a program of academic instruction for adults, including but not
limited to, basic reading, writing, speaking and mathematics; high
school completion; general education development (GED) preparation and
pre-employment training.
The high school completion program
is for out-of-school youth 17-19 years old (Waterford School District
residents), with no tuition costs; full-time Waterford day student
seniors in need of additional credit; and adult students 20 years of
age and older.
Adult Education Winter Registration Begins January 17. Classes

Prepare to take the General Educational Development (GED) test using
either traditional, teacher-driven instruction or technology-based learning.
The GED preparation class meets three nights each week for
fifteen weeks. It is designed to provide students with content
instruction and test-taking skills that increase success on the GED
examination.
