Stakeholders,
I am proud to share the Facility Utilization Study Parameters
recommended for Board approval. Dr. Michael Wilmot, Michigan
Leadership Institute, will join me in presenting the Parameters at
the Board of Education meeting this Thursday, October 15. Much
has changed in this document since it was first presented to the
Board in its original draft on October 1.
Following initial work done by District administration, the
Parameter Development Team, consisting of two parents from each
elementary, Stepanski, and KMS, along with each building
principal, convened on Monday, October 12, 2009, to review,
discuss, modify, and improve the parameters.
The Facility Utilization Study process is well underway and I
appreciate the time and effort of everyone who has participated
thus far. Please continue to monitor the website for the latest
information regarding the Facility Utilization Study.
