Sandburg is located in the quiet neighborhood of Watkins
Lake Estates. It was originally built in 1960. Like many of the elementary
schools, two additions have been added - the Gym and the Media Center. One of the projects
dearest to the hearts of the children at Sandburg is the playground structure
completed in 1998. Together with their parents the kids worked hard to design and
earn all the money themselves to pay for the play structure. The Sandburg family is very
proud of our accomplishments and our

District News & Information
The Waterford School District has implemented a Safety Hotline. If students and
parents know of an unsafe situation in school they can anonymously pass on that
information through the Safety Hotline.
We guarantee to every
student the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become an effective
citizen of the world.
