Girls Who CodeAlysse McKennaMckenA01@wsdmi.orgThis club will teach girls: Sisterhood - members will meet other peers and role models who are learning to code and having fun doing it through a safe & supportive environment. Each club member becomes part of an alumni network of girls across the country. Code - learn concepts that form the basis of programming languages, whether the club's project builds a website, an app, or learns to program a robot. If a club member already has coding skills, they will deepen their knowledge through extended activity sets. Impact - each club will work to solve real-world problems that they care about through a team CS Impact Project.
