WPSEE is the special early education program for Waterford children aged 2^1/2 to 5 who have problems in speech and language, learning, or social-emotional development. Children attend classes four mornings or afternoons a week.  Transportation is available. Qualified special education teachers plan and implement a curriculum which addresses the needs of their young students. At this age children learn best through their play, and so the teachers design play activities which help the children meet developmental goals. Monthly family activity days give parents and teachers the opportunity to work together with the child and celebrate his or her successes.
