Welcome to Kindergarten!
We are honored to welcome you to the Waterford School District! Hold on tight, because the next 13 years are going to fly by, and pretty soon you’ll be watching your child walk across the stage at graduation. It’s a beautiful journey, and we’re happy you’re sharing it with us.
Waterford School District offers a comprehensive curriculum that encourages both social and academic development. Moreover, Kindergarten students participate in what is known as Encore: exploring music, physical education, art, Spanish and the media center, in addition to core instruction.
Be sure to read through our Kindergarten Booklet (Español), created to give our families important, need-to-know information as each of you navigate through this exciting year. Welcome Class of 2037!
Special Note: If your child is born on or before September 1st, they will be eligible for Kindergarten. If your child is born between September 2nd and December 1st, they will be eligible for Junior Kindergarten.
