Scheduled Meetings

Regular Meetings of the Board of Education are held at the Waterford Township Auditorium, 5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., unless posted otherwise. Committee of the Whole (COW) Meetings of the Board of Education are held at the Crary Campus, 501 N. Cass Lake Road, Waterford, on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., unless posted otherwise.

All meetings are open to the public. Special meetings are held whenever necessary and notices are posted below. By law, closed sessions can be held only to discuss matters which require confidentiality, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. However, all formal actions resulting from these meetings must be in a public session.

Regular meetings are shown live on Comcast Channel 22, the district's educational channel and are replayed regularly.  Regular meetings are also available on demand via web streaming from the Channel 22 button.

Attention: The December 7, 2023 meeting will be a Regular Meeting, held at Town Hall.  The December 21, 2023 meeting is canceled.

For those who wish to participate at the Board meeting, public comment cards are available at the sign-in desk. Your card must be presented to the President of the Board prior to the meeting being called to order. The President of the Board is responsible for recognizing all speakers. You will be introduced under the audience participation section of the agenda. Participants are requested to keep their remarks as brief and to the point as possible.

The Waterford School District will provide the necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at a public hearing/meeting upon advance notice in writing or by calling the Office of the Superintendent at: 248.706.4862.
