Student Leadership

News & Press - February 26, 2024

Waterford Mott Leadership spent February 24-26, 2024, at the Amway Grand Hotel, Grand Rapids, at our annual MASC/MAHS State Leadership Conference. The students learned a lot about leadership and event sharing, building and maintaining positive school culture, networked with schools and students from around the state and had many fun team building activities.

Our team of student leaders were recognized for:

  • Star School Award for pushing our program and events to the next level.
  • Award of Excellence top honor at the state level
  • Jordan Spinosi was awarded the “Unsung Hero” award
  • Sophia Santia was nominated for Student of the Year Award
  • Donating to the State charity: Jenna Kast Believe in Miracles Foundation.

We are extremely proud of all our student leaders whose hard work, dedication, and passion to improve our school culture was recognized. Please help us in congratulating their accomplishments and successes of a wonderful student-led program. In addition, they are excited to implement new skills they learned to grow our program further! We are excited to see what the future holds as these accolades represent the best of our student leaders and the program they drive every day.
