School Overview
Waterford Kettering High School has a long tradition of contributing to the intellectual growth of our students. Students attend dynamic courses that invite inquiry and nurture creative thinking, while providing a solid foundation of core academic studies. More than 92% of Waterford graduates go on to college each year with impressive results. Many earn numerous college scholarships to assist in their post-secondary education pursuits. Waterford Kettering High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and holds state accreditation.

Oakland Community College is now free to all graduating seniors in Oakland County for 2 years. You can earn an associates degree for free thanks to new legislation. We would love to have all of our seniors attend this college visit to explore their post-high school options in light of the new legislation. Read more about it here: Community College Guarantee. This is a great opportunity for our students!
Requirements: 1) Fill out the 2025-26 FAFSA (opens December 1st)
2) Apply to OCC!
3) Be a Michigan resident since July 1st, 2024.
4) Be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or approved refugee.
5) Enroll in college full time within 15 months of graduation from Kettering.
6) Renew yearly!
