Scheduled Meetings

Regular Meetings of the Board of Education are held at the Waterford Township Auditorium, 5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., unless posted otherwise. Committee of the Whole (COW) Meetings of the Board of Education are held at the Crary Campus, 501 N. Cass Lake Road, Waterford, on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., unless posted otherwise. 

All meetings are open to the public. Special meetings are held whenever necessary and notices are posted on the website, under Meeting Dates. By law, closed sessions can be held only to discuss matters which require confidentiality, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. However, all formal actions resulting from these meetings must be in a public session.

Regular meetings are recorded and are available on the Waterford School District YouTube channel, WSD News.

For those who wish to participate at the Board meeting, public comment cards are available at the sign-in desk. Your card must be presented to the President of the Board before the meeting is called to order. The President of the Board is responsible for recognizing all speakers. You will be introduced under the audience participation section of the agenda. Comments are limited to three minutes.

The Waterford School District will provide the necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at a public hearing/meeting upon advance notice in writing or by calling the Office of the Superintendent at: 248.706.4862.
