School & Community Services

cameraSchool and Community Services develops all strategic internal and external communications, which are created and promoted through a variety of formats each with the goal of supporting the mission and vision of Waterford School District.

The department also strives to provide accurate and timely information to the public and prides itself on managing a comprehensive communications and marketing plan that fosters and builds strong relationships within the community.

School and Community Services works to uplift Waterford School District's story through a variety of methods such as:

  • Advertising
  • Event creation and planning welcome
  • Executive speech writing
  • Marketing
  • Media engagement
  • Photography
  • Podcast
  • Print publications
  • Social media
  • Video production design and development
  • Website design and management

Our district cooperates with approved community partners by posting e-flyers online and distributing them electronically through our service provider, Peachjar. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery.

Waterford School District Peachjar Flyers

Submit a Flyer for Distribution

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

  • Visit Peachjar Website
  • Register as an Enrichment/Community Organization (account type).
  • Upload your flyer for approval.

Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the standards below. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. Please contact Kellie Brosamer with Peachjar with any questions at kelliebrosamer@peachjar.com.
